Denture materials, fabrication processes, choices of individual denture teeth (acrylic - porcelain), texturizing, hand tinting of gingival acrylic and new, innovative methods of making them secure give denture wearers more options for getting great looking teeth that can feel as good as they look.
What can be sensible treatment for one patient... may not be for another. Treatment histories, oral health conditions, gingiva issues, differences in bone height, condition of the boney ridge, etc., are just a few of the factors that can explain why denture treatment may be successful for one patient, while the same treatment for a person with "similar need" can be a miserable experience.
It is because of these differences, that the majority of denture wearers in our local area, and nationwide, are unhappy with certain aspects of their denture wearing experiences.
